Ok guys, Here is a summary of last nights meeting and what we talked about:

The dues for the team will be $25 this season for all the club members.
This fee will not gaurantee any playing time. Another $15 fee if you
make a roster. The $25 dollars will be due by the end of this
month-please make checks payable to CNU FC.
Uniforms will be provided but you have to buy your own socks. Blue with
3 white stripes(adidas)-either from dicks or soccer.com.
The ideas for fundraising so far are bingo and selling Krispy Kream.
Our first scheduled game will be at ECU vs them and Wake Forrest. But
we are trying to get a game towards the end of this month aswell.
We will also be printing out blue t-shirts. We will send out an email
asking for sizes and providing the exact price of the shirts(prolly
around $12).

First off, I don't care if I'm gone, I'll always have a piece of CNU FC inside of me.

That sounded awkward.

Anyways, hopefully soon, Doug "The Freshness" will take over updating the website from now until he either gets kicked out of school, or actually graduates.

Mikey, make sure you're checking the e-mail you president you.

For those new to CNU FC, or want to join, Click "Join CNU FC" on the left bar and fill out the form. We will then add you to the e-mail list so you get all the updates.

I hope you guys have a great beginning of the season as I'm pretty sure school starts next week.

And, I hope to come visit and see everyone soon!

One love,

Spencer

We Are The Best

In my humble opinion, we are the best club sport at CNU.

Everybody wants to hate on futbol in America, but no matter what, we keep it real.

And no matter what anybody says, that is the most important thing.

CNU, open your eyes, see us, and keep it real!

A message from President Leong

Hello Everyone,

Tonight, we nominated next year's officers for CNU FC. Although I
didn't make it to the meeting, I read of the nominees, and I feel as if
they are all phenomenal choices. Being both a secretary and president
already, I can safely say that it is not an easy job, but it is the
most rewarding experience that you could ask for in your young life.
Regardless of the outcome of elections, I am sure that CNU FC will be
in good hands.

PICKUP Schedule:

Tuesday 5pm-7pm(Rainy, 60's, and awesome)
Thursday 3pm-5pm(Sunny High 77)
Friday 4pm-Sunset(Sunny High 73)

CNU FC Senior Game/Cookout:

May 3rd, I'm going to try and schedule a home game against Premier
Soccer, graduating seniors(who have paid dues)are guaranteed to play,
but underclassmen(who have paid dues) will get their chance to play as
well. Anyone who has paid their dues this year will be eligible to
play. This will be our one last hurrah, and I know it will be a good
one. Keep tuned in for details.

Afterwards, we will have a team cookout at Mariner Museum Park(In case
of inclement weather, we'll have it at my house). There, we can wish
the new officers luck, say goodbye to the graduating seniors, and have
a good time in general before exams. If you have a barbeque grill or
anything to contribute to the cookout, please let me know.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, just drop me a
line.
